Chocolate Oreo High Protein Ice Cream
Thick, rich, creamy, and loaded with Oreos, this chocolate Oreo high protein ice cream is everything good in the world. And for less than 500 calories and 48 grams of protein for the whole pint? It’s almost too good to be true.

It’s no secret that I’m obsessed with the Ninja Creami. From cookie monster to birthday cake to peanut butter and everything in between, the flavor combos are endless and it feels like total magic every time I make one. This chocolate Oreo high protein ice cream has been my most recent love, and if you are a Ninja Creami owner, you need to add it to your list. ♡

What You’ll Need
Equipment
- Ninja Creami
- Hand-held frother: Optional, but makes whisking everything up a breeze.
Ingredients
- 2% Fairlife milk: Fairlife is the smoothest milk I’ve tried and definitely makes a difference in how thick and creamy it turns out. Highly recommend!
- Chocolate protein powder: I’m using the 1UP Nutrition chocolate milkshake protein powder (code “Jaycee” for 20% off).
- Sugar free Jell-O pudding mix: The chocolate fudge one.
- Black cocoa powder: Super important! This is what’s gonna give it that classic Oreo taste and color. Might not seem like a big deal just to use regular cocoa powder but I promise the experience is so much better with black cocoa. I grab it here from Amazon.
- Sweetener: I use Truvia.
- Fine sea salt: Just a pinch to enhance the flavor.
- Oreo thins

How To Make It
- Mix: Add all ingredients except the Oreo thins to a Ninja Cream pint and whisk until smooth (I use a hand-held frother). Add 2 of the Oreo thins to the mixture, using a spoon if needed to help push them down, then pop on the lid.
- Freeze: Place in the freezer (make sure it’s level) and freeze overnight or until solid.
- Spin: Run on the “light ice cream” function (it will be crumbly after – this is normal), then add 1 tbsp of milk or water and re-spin. Add 2 more Oreo thins and run on the “mix-ins” function. Enjoy immediately!

Tips
- Getting rid of the outer icy layer: Before spinning, run the frozen pint under hot water for a few seconds to help get rid of the outer icy layer. You can also let it sit out at room temp for about 10 minutes.
- Use a protein powder you love: This changes the taste and texture, so make sure to use one you enjoy! My favorite in this is the 1UP Nutrition chocolate milkshake protein powder (code “Jaycee” for 20% off).
