I can’t believe I haven’t posted a chocolate overnight oats flavor yet! This one is so yummy and can be customized a hundred different ways. You could make it peanut butter banana, almond joy (coconut + almonds), or my fave, chocolate raspberry. YUM.

Like all my overnight oats recipes, it’s great for meal prep too. Why not make a couple more while you’ve got all the ingredients out?

These are so easy to make and you just need a few ingredients listed below. ๐ŸคŽ

What Youโ€™ll Need

  • Rolled oats: Aka, old fashioned oats. The best kind of oats for overnight oats, since they absorb the liquid and become creamy and delicious!
  • Chia seeds: Creates a thicker consistency and adds some healthy fats. Can sub ground flax seeds.
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder: Adds just a little more chocolatey richness.
  • Non-fat plain greek yogurt: I use greek yogurt for more protein. Sub regular yogurt, dairy-free yogurt, anything you like.
  • Chocolate protein powder: This can change the taste, so use a chocolate protein powder you know and love! I’m using the 1UP Nutrition chocolate milkshake protein powder (code “Jaycee” for 20% off).
  • Unsweetened chocolate almond milk: Or regular chocolate milk.
  • Salt: Just a pinch to make the flavors pop.
  • Raspberries and chocolate: Optional (but highly recommended), for topping.

How To Make It

  1. Add all ingredients to a small container, mason jar, or anything that has a lid. Stir together and store in the fridge overnight or a minimum of 4 hours.

More Toppings/Flavors

Make these your own by adding any toppings you love! There are so many options with a chocolate base. Here are some ideas.

  • Almond joy: Shredded coconut and chopped almonds.
  • PB banana: Peanut butter and sliced bananas.
  • Chocolate orange: Add mandarin orange slices.
  • S’mores: Mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, and crushed graham crackers.

To Store/Meal Prep

I personally donโ€™t like to store these for more than 3 days, so I only make as many as will last my husband and I until then. I love these cute glass jars from Amazon for meal prepping these.
