Eggnog High Protein Ice Cream
This eggnog high protein ice cream will have you feeling all the holiday vibes while packing in 41 grams of protein. Feels like you’re indulging except this treat is working for you, not against you.

This protein ice cream is made in the Ninja Creami, AKA one of the most magical kitchen appliances ever made. โจ Taste just like eggnog, except with 41 grams of protein. It honestly feels too good to be true.
Here’s everything you’ll need and how to make it. Make sure to read through for all my best tips.
What You’ll Need
Equipment
- Ninja Creami
- Creami pints: Should already come with the creami.
- Frother: Optional – I use this for mixing.
Ingredients
- Old fashioned eggnog
- Fat free milk: I use Fairlife for the most protein.
- Vanilla protein powder: My current favorite for my protein ice cream is the Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard vanilla ice cream protein.
- Sugar Free Jell-O pudding mix: I like the white chocolate one best. You could use vanilla as well.
- Nutmeg
- Cinnamon
How To Make It
- Mix all ingredients: Add eggnog, milk, protein powder, pudding mix, nutmeg and cinnamon to your creami pint and mix with the frother until smooth (or a spoon or whatever you have if you don’t have one).
- Freeze: Place in the freezer (make sure it’s level) and freeze for a minimum of 8 hours. I usually make these the night before, but I’ve also made them first thing in the morning and had them later that night.
- Spin: Run on the “light ice cream” function, then add 1 tbsp more of milk or water and re-spin.
Tips
- Run under hot water: When I first take my creami out of the freezer, I like to run it under hot water for a few seconds to help get rid of that outer icy layer.
- Softer ice cream: Get a softer texture by adding more milk or water before the re-spin (2-3 tbsp), or by letting it sit out longer before spinning (around 10 minutes).
- Mix-ins: This eggnog ice cream would be so good with some gingerbread cookies or cinnamon graham crackers.
