Green Dream Protein Smoothie
If you’re looking for a high-volume breakfast or snack, this green dream protein smoothie will be your new best friend. It’s packed with greens and fruit, making it SO filling. And I promise it doesn’t taste like you’re drinking spinach!

3 Tips
To help make sure your smoothie turns out perfect every time.
1. Use frozen fruit
Buying frozen fruit is almost usually a bit cheaper, and it makes the smoothie chilled. You can even freeze your greens if you like your smoothies extra chilly.
2. Blend the greens first
By blending the greens with almond milk before adding everything else, there’s no leafy chunks left behind for you to chew as you’re drinking your smoothie (yuck).
3. Blend longer for extra thickness
If you like your smoothies THICK, blend a bit longer and you’ll be surprised how much it thickens up (assuming you are using a whey protein powder).
Ingredients + Health Benefits
This smoothie is packed with superfoods that’ll nourish your body and make you feel awesome. A few things in it:
- Spinach: What makes the smoothie green :) High in vitamins, minerals, fiber and antioxidants. Read more on health benefits of spinach here.
- Pineapple: High in vitamins and minerals. Known to help lower inflammation, making it awesome as a post-workout recovery smoothie. More on pineapple health benefits here.
- Mango: High in vitamins and minerals, including vitamins, A, C, and E, which are all awesome for your hair and skin health. More on mango health benefits here.
- Protein powder: Promotes muscle growth and aids in muscle recovery.
Just blend it all up and you’re good to go! I love my Vitamix blender for all of my smoothies, but whatever blender you have works great. I have friends and family who use and love Ninja blenders.
Lastly, be sure to leave a comment/review if you make this! ๐Hope everyone is having a great week :)
