These burgers are ready in just 20 minutes and couldn’t be easier. All you’ve gotta do is mix the meat, form into patties, and cook! I like to get all my other toppings ready while the burgers are cooking so everything’s ready to go when they’re done. Here’s what you’ll need and how to make them.

What You’ll Need

  • Lean ground turkey: I prefer 99% lean turkey for the most protein. Can sub ground turkey of choice.
  • Olive oil
  • Egg
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika: To season. Use smoked paprika if you’ve got it!
  • Worcestershire sauce: SO GOOD in these. Look for it in the condiment aisle by the ketchup.
  • Green onion

How To Make Them

  1. Mix all ingredients: In a medium size bowl, mix the turkey, olive oil, egg, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, and green onions until just combined. Try not to over-mix.
  2. Separate into 4: Separate the meat mixture into 4 equal pieces and form into patties.
  3. Cook burgers: Heat a large frying pan on medium high heat and spray with cooking spray. Cook the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked (internal temp of 165F).

That’s it! Super simple.

To Serve

I love to eat these burgers on a toasted bun, in a lettuce wrap or in a burger bowl with any of the following:

Tips

  • Meat thermometer: Lean ground turkey has the most protein, but also the highest risk of drying out. To avoid over-cooking, I use my favorite instant meat thermometer.
  • Smash burgers: You can also roll into meatballs and use a piece of parchment to smash the patties as they cook.

To Store

After cooling, store in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days.
