Loaded burger bowls with light burger sauce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, potatoes and ground beef with kitchen towel and fork in the background.

These are so quick, easy to make and super customizable. Use your favorite burger toppings and seasonings to make this your own. Or use what I do! Here’s everything you’ll need and how to make them.

What You’ll Need

Equipment
Ingredients
  • 93% lean ground beef
  • Yellow onion
  • Salt, pepper, seasonings of choice: Any of the Kinder’s seasonings are great. I used the steak blend.
  • Russet potatoes
  • Iceberg lettuce
  • Roma tomatoes: Or cherry tomatoes.
  • Cheddar cheese: Sub any cheese you prefer. Colby jack, pepper jack or Swiss are also yummy.
  • Pickles
For The Sauce
  • Non fat plain greek yogurt
  • Ketchup: I use G Hughes sugar free.
  • Mustard
  • Pickles + pickle juice
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt & pepper

How To Make Them

  1. Prep the potatoes: Wash and scrub the potatoes clean and pat dry. Chop into about 1/4 inch cubes and add to a mixing bowl. Lightly spray with oil, then season with the seasonings you’re using for the ground beef – I use salt, Kinder’s steak blend, and a little paprika. Toss to evenly coat.
  2. Cook potatoes: Add potatoes to the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375 F for 12 minutes, flipping/shaking halfway.
  3. Cook the beef: Heat the frying pan on medium high. Add the ground beef and diced yellow onion, breaking meat apart while it cooks, until fully browned. Season with more salt, Kinder’s seasoning and paprika. Remove from heat.
  4. Prep toppings: Wash and chop the lettuce and tomatoes and grate the cheese. Make the light burger sauce by whisking together all of the sauce ingredients listed.
  5. Assemble bowls: Build your bowl by layering lettuce, meat, cheese, potatoes, tomatoes, pickles, and drizzle of the burger sauce. Enjoy immediately!

Tips

  • Soft potatoes: If your potatoes finish air frying too long before building the bowls, they can get soft. To crisp them back up, put them back in at 375 F for 2-3 minutes before serving.
  • Don’t have an air fryer?: Bake the potatoes at 425 F for 30 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Nutrition: For the macros listed, each bowl gets 1/4 of everything. I just roughly divide everything into 4, and put a portion of each on my bowl.
  • Pickled onions: The pickles already provide a nice acidity, but if you have them, pickled onions are delicious in this.

To Store

Store ingredients separately in airtight containers in the fridge up to 4 days. Reheat meat either in the microwave or on a hot pan with a splash of water. Reheat potatoes in the air fryer at 375 F for a few minutes at a time until desired warmth/crispiness.

Just made this and loved it! Subbed the potatoes for a few southern style hashbrowns in the air fryer. They added a crispy crouton-like crunch to the topping! We just bought the Big Mac sauce off the grocery shelf for the dressing.

The sauce should be divided into 4ths like the rest of the recipe correct?

I absolutely love your recipes! They have really helped track macros so much easier and so dang delish!
