My Most Favorite High Protein Yogurt Bowl
I go to bed excited for my high protein yogurt bowl the next day. With a whopping 45 grams of protein, it makes hitting your protein goal feel effortless and tastes like a treat. Top it off with some homemade chocolate granola and it’s *chef’s kiss*.

I wasn’t going to give this yogurt bowl its own blog post, but it’s been such a consistent staple in my routine that it deserves a permanent home here. It’s the easiest, tastiest snack I can always rely on. Plus, you can customize it however you love! This is the recipe I make 9 times out of 10. I make it so often I have it saved in my Cronometer as its own food, I just log “Chocolate Yogurt Bowl”.
What You’ll Need
Ingredients
- Non fat plain Greek yogurt: My favorites are Chobani or the Kirkland brand from Costco.
- Natural peanut butter: Look for one with just peanuts and salt as the ingredients. It really does make a difference! I use the Smucker’s natural creamy peanut butter.
- Chocolate protein powder: I use the chocolate milkshake from 1UP Nutrition (use code โJayceeโ for 20% off). The vegan chocolate protein is also amazing if you have a sensitive stomach! I just add a little splash of milk when I use that one since it has a thicker texture.
- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- Frozen wild blueberries: This is key. The wild ones are smaller so they thaw quickly while making the bowl super crispy cold.

How To Make It
- Mix everything together in a bowl. That’s it!
Toppings
You can add fresh fruit, granola, nuts, cacao nibs, pumpkin seeds, a drizzle of honey, etc. I almost always have a batch of vanilla sea salt, peanut butter, or chocolate granola stocked for topping.
