You’ve gotta try these quick and easy Italian sliders for quick weeknight dinners or sharing with a group of friends! So fast and simple.

My husband even said, and I quote, “I freaking love these”. All the confirmation I needed to share them with the world.

It’s actually kind of fun to layer the different meats and toppings. This would be a super fun recipe to make with my younger siblings.

What You’ll Need

  • 12-count pack of dinner rolls: Use the savory butter rolls! I like the King’s Hawaiian brand, but don’t confuse the brand name with their sweet Hawaiian rolls. Look for the orange label, but get the ones that say “Savory butter rolls“. I think the regular dinner rolls taste the best in this recipe.
  • Marinara sauce: Just use whatever pizza or pasta sauce you have on hand!
  • Mustard: Yellow or dijon.
  • Deli ham: I use the smoked deli ham from the Hormel brand.
  • Italian dry salami: Look for one with around 90 calories per serving. Many salami brands will vary.
  • Turkey pepperoni: Turkey pepperoni is lower in fat and calories than regular pepperoni and tastes just as good. You won’t even tell a difference!
  • Provolone cheese: I buy the slices so it’s all ready to go :)
  • Banana peppers: The sliced jarred ones.
  • Roasted red peppers: Also comes in a jar – you should be able to find them right by the banana peppers.
  • Italian Seasoning: You can use a store bought seasoning (I like Badia complete seasoning) or use a blend of Italian seasonings (thyme, oregano, basil, rosemary).
  • Parmesan: Just a little to sprinkle on top!

How To Make Them

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Chop and measure ingredients: I like to get everything all ready before I start making the sliders. Chop the banana peppers and red peppers and measure out the ham, salami, and turkey pepperoni.
  3. Assemble the sliders: Cut the dinner rolls in half and remove the top portion. Spread marinara sauce and drizzle mustard on the bottom half. Layer on ham, salami, turkey pepperoni, cheese, banana peppers and red peppers. Add back on the top half of the rolls, then spray with a light mist of cooking spray and sprinkle Italian seasoning and parmesan on top.
  4. Bake: Cover the sliders with foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5 minutes, or until golden and crispy!

That’s it! Easy peasy. These have a good amount of meat of them, too, so they are surprisingly filling!

To Store

I would recommend eating these immediately – they are the best fresh out of the oven. However, if you have some leftover, I like to either wrap them up in the same foil I baked them with, or put them in a ziplock bag. Anything that will hold them in an airtight space. Reheating these in the oven or an air fryer is optimal to bring some texture back, but you could warm them up in the microwave as well.

As always, let me know if you try these ones out and be sure to leave a comment and review!
