FAQs

  • How can I change the consistency?: Depending on what protein powder you use, you may or may not want to tweak the consistency of this smoothie. You can thin it out by adding a splash more milk or water, or thicken it up by adding ice or a few extra frozen strawberries!
  • Can I use a different kind of milk?: Absolutely! This smoothie works great with regular milk, almond milk, cashew milk, or any milk you prefer (although coconut milk is my favorite for the strawberries and cream vibes).
  • What protein powder do you recommend?: I love the vanilla ice cream protein from 1UP Nutrition (code β€œJaycee” for 20% off) . It blends up super thick and creamy, tastes great, and has amazing macros.

The first time I made this I did not have vanilla protein powder so I omitted it and it was just okay, but today my vanilla protein powder arrived so I was able to make it correctly and this was quite delicious, will be making for breakfast this week. Bonus because my toddler was intrigued and decided to split it with me, what a wonderful way for him to get extra protein & fruit!

This smoothies is DELISH! Just the perfect amount of sweetness and does not have the gritty protein smoothie taste (and I used my same protein powder). This smoothie is on my menu this week again because it was so Good! Can’t wait to try your other smoothies.
